FAQs
What is a single tooth dental implant made of?
Your single tooth dental implant will be made up of a titanium screw, which is implanted into the jaw and acts as the new root for the tooth. On top of this, Dr Rohan will apply a prosthetic tooth, that is usually made of porcelain, and is extremely natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing.
What is the treatment process like?
Most treatment journeys for a single tooth dental implant take place over a few months and will include two or more appointments with Dr Rohan. He’ll first assess your needs and establish that you’re a suitable candidate for the treatment at a consultation, the titanium screw will then be placed first, before a short wait of a month or two. This is to allow the implant and the jawbone to successfully fuse. Dr Rohan will then place your new prosthetic tooth, and you’ll be able to show off your brand new smile.
